JAMMU, Nov 13: Vice-president, Jammu State Morcha, Abdul Gani Aftab was today appointed as active president of the party.
According to a release of the Party, as president, JSM, Prof Virender Gupta along with some members has joined Bhartiya Janata Party, the existing working committee has been dissolved by the party and vice-president of the party, Abdul Gani Aftab, has been appointed as active president of the party.
The release said that JSM has also formed an adhoc committee to look after the affairs of the party. The adhoc committee comprised of Chandra Uday Sharma as existing general secretary, Surjit Singh as general secretary, Kanta Sharma as Incharge Mahila Wing, Sanjay Tagotra as treasurer, Ramesh Singh as secretary and Subhash Sharma as secretary.
