NEW DELHI, July 14: Newly appointed Advisor to the Governor Farooq Khan today visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here to enquire about the condition of DIG Amit Kumar.
Amit Kumar had received a gunshot wound in the abdomen on February 18, 2019 in an encounter in Pinglan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and was shifted to AIIMS for specialized treatment.
Advisor Farooq Khan stayed with the DIG for some time and asked the authorities of AIIMS to ensure proper treatment. He also wished speedy recovery to the injured DIG.
