JAMMU, July 25: Senior Congress leader, Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra has been elected as chairman, whereas Raj Kumar Khanmotra, Mani Ram and Surjit Kumar were elected as president, vice-president and general secretary of newly framed Rehri-Fadi Union, here today respectively.
The election was made during a function which was organised at Purani Mandi for framing of Rehri-Fadi Union of Shalamar and Indira Chowk.
Ravi Mehra, Sourav Mehra, Manoj Kumar, Chandan Soni, Chandan Kumar, Harish Prasad, Rahul Kumar, Manik, Kamal Kumar and Vishal Gupta were appointed members of the Union.
After election, the chairman of the newly framed Union, Advocate Dogra said that he was always ready to work for the redressal of the problems being faced by the weaker sections of the society and would never step back to deal with genuine problems of the Union.
