POONCH, May 28: District Administration got a community bunker vacated which was being used by some individuals as personal property at Karmara border village in Poonch district.
Official sources said that community bunkers meant for local population are being used by some individuals as personal property which could pose a threat to the life and security of public.
“In compliance with the directions from Deputy Commissioner’s office, community bunker was vacated in Karmara area of Poonch and placed under `Spurdnama’ of concerned Numberdar and Chowkidar of the village.
A senior officer said that this shall be followed across Tehsil Haveli in Poonch and all such bunkers being used as personal property shall be vacated and handed over to local Numberdar/Chowkidar.
