JAMMU, Aug 29: Administrator, Government Medical College & Associated Hospitals Jammu, Amit Sharma today inspected Gandhi Nagar COVID Hospital and checked the facilities available for COVID positive patients. Dr Krishan Gupta (NHM) and his team also accompanied the Administrator.
During visit, the Nodal Officer showed all the facilities for COVID patients to the Administrator at the institutional quarantine facility here and the latter was very particular about hygiene and cleanliness conditions being maintained in the hospital as initially, he had received a lot of calls from patients but he found everything in order and all floors clean and well-maintained.
Administrator Sharma also talked with para-medical and nursing staff deputed from Super Speciality Hospital and directed them to maintain adhere to COVID protocol strictly while dealing with patients admitted in the Hospital.
Dr Krishan assured the Administrator that the quality and quantity of medicines including PPE, gloves, masks, sanitizers and all related medical equipment were available in sufficient quantity in the Hospital.
The Nodal Officers also said that food, medicines and all requisite facilities which are required for quick recovery of the patients are given to them in time.
