RAJOURI, Aug 29: A young woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances near her in-laws’ house in Darhal area of Rajouri district today.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old, Rubina Akhtar, wife of Anwar Hussain Shah, resident of village Grad in Darhal. The police said her dead body with some marks around neck was lying near her house and village Sarpanch informed about the matter.
The body was lying under mysterious circumstances while family members were expressing ignorance over the matter. The body was shifted for post-mortem to Darhal hospital by police.
Later, parents of the girl also arrived from Rajal in Nowshera to Darhal hospital.They alleged it as murder as their daughter was being harassed by inlaws. They took girl’s body with them to Rajal for performing last rites. The police registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation.
