LEH, June 6: Bhanu Prabha, Administrative Secretary, Higher Education, UT Ladakh, interacted with participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme at the 5th Battalion ITBP Campus, Choglamsar, on June 6, 2026.
The programme brought together youth participants from Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, who will undertake an exposure visit to seven border villages in Ladakh under the initiative.
Deputy Director, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Ladakh, Khushal Gupta, delivered the opening address and briefed the gathering on the objectives of the programme and the planned visits to the villages.
State Director, MY Bharat, Tajamul Ara, welcomed the Administrative Secretary and expressed gratitude for her presence and interaction with the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Administrative Secretary Bhanu Prabha highlighted Ladakh’s unique geographical, cultural, and socio-economic characteristics that distinguish it from other parts of the country.
She spoke about the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to transform India into a developed nation by 2047 and emphasized the significance of the Vibrant Villages Programme in strengthening and developing the border villages of Ladakh.
The programme concluded with an interactive session during which participants engaged with the Administrative Secretary and shared their thoughts and observations.
As a token of appreciation, State Director, MY Bharat, Tajamul Ara, presented a memento to the Administrative Secretary.
