JAMMU, July 25: All Displaced Kashmiri Employees Forum (ADKEF) has expressed serious concern over the posting of displaced employees especially those from Education Department in Kashmir Valley.
In a joint statement issued here, today Forum president M K Tickoo and its general secretary R K Razdhan said the decision is fraught with serious consequences in view of deteriorating situation in Kashmir Valley.
They said the Forum in particular and entire KP community in general is concerned for the welfare of the community employees as all Hindu minorities were forced to flee from Valley by the terrorists backed by Pakistan in 1989-90.
Had the situation not deteriorated to such an extent and minorities not been threatened no one would have left home and hearth to take refuge under open skies outside Valley for the safety of his life.
They said the situation has not changed for good in Kashmir but is deteriorating day by day and the influence of radical forces inimical to peace is increasing every day. The duo said the transfer to Valley is not acceptable at any cost under the prevailing circumstances whether of male or female employees.
