It was expected that the new Government would give preference to governance. But it seems that is not happening. Take instance the case of 99 KAS selected candidates who have been waiting for adjustments since last nine months due to absence of PSC Chairman.
These candidates are from the various sections and different corners of the State. They have burnt their mid night oil for achieving the success.
In June, 2013, 99 posts for KAS, KPS and Account Officers were advertised. 25000 candidates filled their forms. A Prelim test was held in September 2013 and Mains Examination was held in March 2014. Lastly in June 2014, after interview 99 candidates were declared successful on merit basis from different corners and different sections of the State. Lastly, medical test was held in Govt Medical College Srinagar and GMC Jammu. These 99 selected KAS candidates have not been given appointment orders by the Public Service Commission, because of no PSC Chairman.
So, The Chief Minister requested to appoint PSC Chairman and adjust these 99 youth in various departments of the State.
