Kudos to Amit Kushari IAS Retd for his master piece “Why should pandits return to Kashmir”? The article in question is straight from heart and voice of conscience . Very few writers write so honestly and sincerly. He has given the factual position of the causes that lead to the mass exodus of 1990. He has not opposed any section of the society but quoted the actual facts. Endorsing the contents of the article, we further submit in regard to people of Kashmir in particular and the State in general.
India did not take any corrective measures after the accession of Kashmir to India. The situation at that time was grim and needed caution. But the Indian leaders were misled by the successive Governments in the State. They swayed the Indian leaders and continued their mission of making alley to destablise Indian foundation in Kashmir.
The situation can be saved at this stage of the controversial Article 370 is abolished without any further delay. This article is mother of all ills. The situation thereafter will normalise.
