JAMMU, Jan 15: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Headquarters & Coordination, Manish Sinha, today graced the closing ceremony of a four-week Special Operations Group (SOG) training program held at the Commando Training Centre (CTC) Sunjwan.
As per a statement, the training, organized by Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, focused on enhancing the operational and tactical skills of police personnel.
The program covered advanced techniques essential for counter-terrorism and public safety, emphasizing physical fitness, combat strategies, mental toughness, and discipline.
Trainees underwent rigorous sessions designed to prepare them for handling critical situations with precision and confidence.
Speaking at the event, ADGP Sinha praised the trainees for their commitment and resilience throughout the program.
He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in creating a capable police force equipped to meet modern challenges.
Sinha also commended the trainers and organizers for their efforts in making the program a success.
To recognize outstanding performances, awards were distributed for individual and district achievements in firing and endurance.
These included accolades for the best trainee in firing, best in endurance, and top-performing districts in these categories.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Abrar Chowdhary, Principal of the Commando Training Centre.
Other dignitaries present included Sarah Rizvi, DIG Trainings PHQ J&K; Dr Surinder Choudhary, Deputy CO IRP 14 Battalion; and various officers, instructors, and trainees.
