Address pending issues of workers, pensioners: LPEF

JAMMU, Sept 9: The Jammu provincial committee of the All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation has urged upon the State Administration to address the pending issues of the workers and the pensioners.
In a meeting of the Federation held under the leadership of Anil Verma, president Ghagwal unit in Samba, state president Abdul Majid Khan stressed upon the State Administration to resolve the pending issues of the workers and the pensioners. He demanded regularization of temporary/ daily rated/ casual workers, release of their pending wages, enhance medical allowance of employees and pensioners.
Khan pointed out that teachers, clerks, village guards, daily rated/ Anganwadi workers, Numberdars etc are not getting due attention of the Government for the last few months. They are agitating but there is nobody to listen their issues. He demanded that DA installment of employees due from July 2019 be released without any more delay. He also demanded raising minimum wage to Rs 450 per day.
