JAMMU, Aug 11: On the 4th death anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Adbi Kunj organized a literary tributes meet, here today.
The members of the organization and others also paid floral tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
The meet was presided over by a young poet Abdul Jabbar Butt and another poet Mohan Singh Ultaf was the special guest. KL Salgotra noted Dogri poet conducted the proceeding of the meet.
Sham Talib President, Aarash Dalmotra and other literary luminaries described Dr Kalam as an inspirational figure for the nation who during his journey has inspired many young scientists whose contribution to the defence system of the country especially in the missile technology is incredible.
In the 2nd part of this session, Adbi Kunj also paid tributes to Rajeshwar Bhakari on his 4th death anniversary.
In the last, a composite poetic round up also held. The poets who participated in the meet included Aarash Dalmotra, Mohan Singh Ultaf, Rahul Arman, Romesh Anand Sagar, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Sanjeev Kumar, Jaitender Bassan, Rajeev Kumar, Saprash Sharma, SK Gupta, Abdul Jabbar Butt and Sham Talib.
The meet comes to end with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra Chairman Adbi Kunj Jammu.
