JAMMU, Feb 1: First acting workshop of the year inaugurated here today at Natrang Studio Theatre Jammu with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Natrang Director Balwant Thakur.
Organized by Natrang, this 15-day workshop will be conducted by Neeraj Kant and Rahul Singh.
In his inaugural address, Balwant Thakur, said “In response to the growing demand of having regular Acting learning opportunities in Jammu, Natrang has taken the initiative to have proper professionally designed Acting workshops for new entrants of theatre. Such workshops will now be the regular feature in Natrang with specific aim of channelizing the overflowing energy of youth towards positive activities specially related to creativity and innovation”.
“The workshop will focus on the exploration of talent in body and voice of an actor” he added and stressed the need of developing professional perfection in the art of acting. He further observed that most of the youngsters only do day dreaming and never venture to put their best in achieving excellence in life.
