JAMMU, Feb 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Employees Association (Secretariat Unit) today condemned the alleged misbehaviour with their colleagues by some members of Secretariat Union and threatened to go on strike.
According to the president JKAEA, the Association is not part of any strike call given by the Secretariat Union henceforth, as it has been sabotaging “our genuine demands on various fronts for the last two years.”
“It is also highly regretful that some of the members of Secretariat Union today threatened one of our female Accounts Officers and manhandled one Accounts Assistant working in the Finance Department, besides misbehaved with many other colleagues,” president JKAEA said.
He said the issue has strongly been condemned by all the employees in general and Accounts cadre in particular.
“It has been unanimously decided that accounts personnel working in Civil Secretariat shall remain on pen-down strike till appropriate action is initiated against the culprits by the concerned authorities,” he added.
