JAMMU, Sept 8: J&K Accounts Employees Association has taken serious exception to pick and choose transfers made by Director Accounts and Treasuries, Jammu by violating all set norms and procedures.
In a statement issued here, today, the Association alleged that this way the Director has violated all the instructions and laid down norms of transfer policy.
The statement said the Director Accounts and Treasuries Jammu issued order bearing No 205 of 2019 dated 20-08-2019 regarding transfer, posting of accounts assistants consisting of nine numbers of accounts personnel. The order be enquired through the other officers of Audit Department to ascertain the facts, the statement added.
The Association while putting a question mark on adopting of pick and choose policy of transfers asked that how the Director took initiative of transfer or attachment or again made transfer after the attachments without completion of period mentioned in the guidelines.
The Association president, Kulwant Singh Sambyal decided to come on the front line of struggle against the anti employees attitude adopted by the Director Accounts & Treasuries Jammu, the statement said.
It said that every one is aware of the honest and strong Governor’s administration in the J&K which is speedy working for the progress of the State and the betterment of the people in the State but it is unfortunate that the Director Accounts and Treasuries could not understand the dignity of the higher ups.
