JAMMU, Oct 1: Non-Gazetted Accounts employees discussed their pending demands in a meeting held here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship president, J&K Non-Gazetted Accounts Employees Association, Kulwant Singh. Several members attended the meeting.
They demanded to withdraw clarification of SRO-160 dated 10-5-2006, OMNA/89 (05) 984, dated 22-8-2006; up-gradation of the posts of Accounts Assistants and Accountants to the status of Accountants, Senior Accountants as per the pattern of Director Accounts & Treasuries and constitution of the Departmental Examination Wing of North Zonal Accountancy Training Institute, Jammu/ Srinagar. They also demanded fully implementation of SRO-272 and provision of salary to the Accountancy trainees.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included, K S Khalsa, Prem Nath, Ram Paul, Anil Sharma, Kishore Kumar, Devi Dayal, Mukesh Kumar and Subash Raina.
