JAMMU, Sept 9: An accident victim today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the deceased has been identified as Shiv Kumar (40) son of Ram Lal, a resident of UP (at present Trikuta Nagar). He said that the man was injured on September 9 when the auto in which he was going on, turned turtle at Narwal.
“Since then, the victim was undergoing treatment here at GMCH and expired today”, he said adding the body of the deceased was later handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities.
