JAMMU, Feb 2: Up in arms against mass copying cases in the BOSE examinations, ABVP activists today held a protest demonstration and torched an effigy of the School Education Department.
The protest was organized by ABVP Jammu Mahanagar at Bikram Chowk, under the leadership of Deepak Gupta, secretary ABVP Jammu Mahanagar, who threatened to gherao Directorate of School Education if no action is taken against the school heads where mass copying cases were reported. He said it was very shameful that mass copying was happening in the schools in heart of the Jammu city and within six kilometres from the Directorate.
ABVP demanded strict action against those responsible and encouraging manipulation of the education system by not performing their job honestly.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by Piyush, Jagdeep, Jaspal, Sunny, Vidash, Milan, Yudhvir, Vishal, Sahil, Rohit, Shiv and Ravail.
