JAMMU, June 9: Janipur police nabbed a thief, who was evading his arrest for the past one year.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Janipur police station nabbed a thief, who was at large since last year.
The accused has been identified as Vinod Kumar, son of Mani Ram Chandra of Chhattisgarh.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 188/2014 under Section 454 and 380 RPC with Janipur police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Janipur police station Inspector Ajit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Sandeep Choudhary, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and Incharge SSP Rajive Pandey.
