Absconding criminal lands in police net

JAMMU, Apr 16: A criminal, who was evading his arrest since long has landed into police net.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kullian Police Post conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large for the past 7 years.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Hanif, son of Haji Babu, a resident of Dak Banglow Maralian.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 6/10 under Section 323, 332, 353, 147, 148, 149 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Miran Sahib. He was also wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 56/16 under Section 302, 307, 427, 429, 459, 147, 148 and 149 RPC with Police Station Kud.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Kullian Police Post ASI Yougal made the arrest under the supervision of Incharge Miran Sahib Police Station SI Kamalpreet Singh, SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Romesh Kotwal.
