JAMMU, Nov 1: Jhajjar Kotli police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past over three years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Jhajjar Kotli police station conducted a raid in Dansal area and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2011.
The accused has been identified as Fateh Hussain, son of Mehraj Din, a resident of village Rangoora.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Jhajjar Kotli police station under FIR number 73/2011 under Section 307 and 188 RPC. Arrest warrant under Section 512 RPC also stands issued against the accused by the Court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Khaliq Choudhary and SP Mohan Lal Kaith.
