JAMMU, May 4: Police in Jammu’s Miran Sahib Area claimed they have arrested an absconder after 7 years of the commissioning of the crime.
A police official said that Manpreet singh of Malikpur, Miran Sahib was involved in case FIR number 164/2017 under section 363 of the IPC.
He was evading his arrest by continuously changing his locations.
Today, the accused was arrested by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned and produced before the competent court in RS Pura for further legal action against him.
On the orders of the court, he was later lodged in District Jail Amphalla, Jammu.
