JAMMU, Feb 6: Police in Bakshi Nagar area here claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past one year.
Harsh Kumar of Rajpura, Shakti Nagar, Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 148/2023 under sections 307, 341, 147, 148, 120-B of the IPC registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar, a police spokesperson said.
An arrest warrant against the accused under section 299 of the CRPC was also issued by the authorities, he said.
Executing the arrest warrant, he said, special teams of Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Bakshi Nagar raided the suspected area and arrested the accused.
