RAMBAN, Feb 21: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for last 11 years, was arrested today by Ramban police.
“Khushal Ahmed son of Abdul Haq, resident of Narsadhi (Kokernag, Anantnag), who was booked in a case FIR Number 112/2011 under Section 188 RPC, 3 PC Act of police station Batote was evading his arrest from the clutches of law for the last eleven years,” a police spokesman said.
He said on specific information, a special police team of police station Batote headed by SHO Batote Inspector Sudher Sadotra under the supervision of Pardeep Singh Sen, Deputy SP Headquarters Ramban and overall supervision of Mohita Sharma (SP Ramban), arrested the accused person from Ramban.
