RAMBAN, Mar 8: Chanderkote police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed of Raipur Bishnah, District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 34/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act and has been produced before the court of Mobile Magistrate, Batote.
Police team headed by SHO Chanderkote Inspector Abid Hussain Bhukhari and assisted by ASI Balbir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
