JAMMU, Apr 7: An absconder who was evading his arrest since long was arrested today by Bus Stand police.
According to a police spokesman, on a specific input a team of Bus Stand police led by SHO Ravi Kant today laid a naka at Bus Stand and arrested an absconder namely Majid Hussain son of Mohd Azam, resident of Gujar Mandi (Rajouri), who was evading his arrest for last eight years.
The spokesman said that a non-bailable warrant was issued against the absconder in a case FIR No 56/09 under Section 489 C RPC, which was registered at police Station Bus Stand.
