Abduction case solved, 4 employees of Toll Plaza arrested

JAMMU, Aug 2: Jhajjar Kotli Police solved abduction case within 6 hours by arresting four employees of the Toll Plaza at Nagrota here.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by person namely Faisal Maqbool Rather, son of Mohd Maqbool Rather of Nowpora District Baramulla with Police Station Jhajjar Kotli stating that he along with his associate namely Faizan Mushtaq Lone, son of Mushtaq Ahmed Lone of Nowpora District Baramulla were heading towards Srinagar from Jalandhar in their truck and the the staff of Ban Toll Plaza misbehaved and abused them despite paying toll tax through FASTAG and were also demanding more amount.
“After paying toll tax, when we moved ahead, four to five employees of Ban Toll Plaza followed us in a car bearing registration number JK02AG-5342 and wrongfully stopped our truck at Nandini Tunnel Number 2”, the complainant said, adding that the persons following us forcibly abducted and kidnapped my friend Faizan Mushtaq Lone with intention to wrongfully confine him and demanding more money by threatening and using rude language.
The persons later fled away from spot after abducting his friend along with them, the complainant stated.
In this regard, a case under FIR Number 189/2022 under sections 341, 342, 365, 504, 506 and 34 IPC was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma immediately swung into action and by making hectic efforts got success to rescue the abducted person and capture the accused persons, who were identified as Narinder Singh, son of Gopal Singh of Korga Jandrah, Manish Kumar, son of Tarseem Lal of Gurdaspur Punjab, Mohammad Akram, son of Zakeen Mohd of Chaddali Dansal and Banu Sharma, son of Raj Kumar of Nagrota. The vehicle in which the person was abducted has also been seized.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
