JAMMU, Mar 13: Sainik Colony Police rescued abducted minor girl from Nowshera area of District Rajouri and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Post Sainik Colony by a man stating that his minor girl has been abducted by unknown person(s).
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 35/2022 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and hunt was launched to rescue the abducted girl vis arrest the abductor(s).
On specific information, a team from Police Post Sainik Colony led by PSI Bhawani Singh under the supervision of SHO Channi Himmat Inspector Deepak Jasrotia amd SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbad Jafari took technical support and finally rescued the girl from Nowshera area of District Rajouri.
The abductor identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Sial, son of Saber Ahmed Sial, a resident of Nagdraman Kokernag District Anantnag was also arrested on the spot.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
In this regard FIR No.35/2022 u/s 363 IPC stands registered in police station channi himat.
People of the area hailed the efforts of Jammu police for this swift action.
