Aarav helps Jammu Green to win Budding Cricket Tournament’s inaugural tie

JAMMU, July 10: Brilliant all round performance by Aarav Mahajan helped Jammu Green to register 7 wickets win over Jammu Red in the inaugural tie of the U-16 Budding Cricket Tournament, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Red made 109 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 30 overs. Musaif made 45 runs and Areen scored 16 runs.
From Jammu Green side, Aarav Mahajan and Samarpit bowled well and scalped 2 wickets each.
In reply, Jammu Green chased the target in 17 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Paras played a splendid inning of 48 runs, while Aarav Mahajan also displayed magnificent batting performance and remained not out with 28 runs.
From Jammu Red side, Prabjot took one wicket.
Aarav Mahajan of Jammu Green was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Vinod Kandyara as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda maintained the scorecard.
