JAMMU, June 19: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) since its formation has recognized five basic requirements of common man on streets.
This was stated by AAP members during interaction with media persons here today.
“As the party is of aam aadmi, it strived hard to provide just and equal opportunities to them”, they said, adding that the priority areas of the AAP are schools, hospitals, drinking water supply, electricity and affordable public transport.
“We feel that the education sector has taken over by the private enterprises due the poor condition of the Government schools throughout the Jammu and Kashmir”, they said, adding that there are no dependable Government hospitals for general public for medical needs.
They further said that the condition of the Government hospitals at division level is also deplorable, which need utmost priority, adding that irregular and intercepted water and power supply especially during the ongoing hot weather conditions also creates problems for the common people.
“An affordable public transport system is the need of the hour as auto rickshaws and mini-buses operators are known for their bad behaviors”, they asserted.
