JAMMU, Dec 15: The youth wing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held protest here today against the State Government for clearing ex-gratia to next kin of 17 persons including Hizbul militant Burhan Wani’s brother, who was killed in militancy related incident in the Valley.
The protesters led by Amandeep Singh Boparai, District Youth President, AAP, Jammu, raised slogans against the Government.
While speaking, Boparai said that according to Army, Burhan Wani’s brother Khalid Muzaffer as over ground worker of Hizb and was killed in encounter, adding that they have no objection on ex-gratia given to innocent people killed in Valley during cross firing.
“Armed forces personnel from J&K, who attained martyrdom in North East areas were declined ex-gratia by the State Government. Coalition Government is least bothered about the soldiers serving J&K”, he added.
Among others present were Manjeet Singh, NP Singh, Mandeep Singh Manni, Himanshu Jandyal, Ankit Sharma, Meet Bali, Rakesh, Joginder, etc.
