Cong leader passes away

JAMMU, Dec 15: Senior Congress leader Darshan Raina hailing from Jammu (Rural) passed away after long illness.
He was 62 and is survived by wife, two daughters and a son.
PCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma said that Darshan Raina served the party at different positions for long with great dedication. He was not keeping well for the last several months. The family was planning for his kidney transplant. Raina breathed his last at his residence Indira Nagar, adjoining Brij Nagar, on Miran Sahib Road this evening.
His cremation will take place at Indira Nagar Cremation Ground tomorrow ( Friday) at 4 pm. Various PCC, DCC and BCC  functionaries  of the party have expressed shock over the demise  of  Raina and extended their sympathies to the bereaved family.
