AAP demands Statehood restoration to J&K

JAMMU, Nov 25: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Amit Kapoor has demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K and early Assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference here today Kapoor claimed that concerns of the public are not being addressed and development activities have come to a standstill in J&K.
He also said that unemployment is increasing continuously in J&K for the last four years and the people are unable to understand whom to contact and where to go as the general public is not being taken care of by the government authorities in J&K.
Kapoor said if Statehood is restored and elections are held then people will get the right to choose their own government.
He also highlighted farmers’ issues like electricity, drinking water, property rights on allotted lands etc.
