RAJOURI, June 12: Nowshera police arrested four persons who were involved in the illicit liquor sale in Nowshera area and seized 160 liters of liquor from their possession.
Official sources said that a raid was conducted by Nowshera police party at village Patali where three persons namely Praveen Kumar, son of Rakesh Kumar; Pardeep Kumar & Naresh Kumar both, sons Som Raj hailing from Patali. Nearly 160 liters of illicit liquor was seized from the spot.
In this connection a case FIR No. 102 /2020 under 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Nowshera against them.
Meanwhile, another police party under the directions of SDPO Nowshera Zakir Shaheen Mirza conducted raid at village Bakhar where Balbir Sing, son of Baldev Sing Chib was found distilling illicit liquor. Nearly, 15 liters of illicit liquor was seized on the spot. A case FIR No. 46 /2020 was registered against the accused person.
