JAMMU, Nov 13: The dead body of an unknown man of age about 65 years was recovered today from Railway Station Jammu.
According to a police official, police station GRP Jammu received a call this evening at about 4: 20 that an unidentified old man is lying in unconscious condition at Platform No 1 of Railway Station Jammu. He said a police team immediately reached the spot and shifted the man to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of the Hospital for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this connection at police station GRP Jammu,” the official added.
