Youth’s body found hanging; boy burnt alive

SAMBA, Mar 10: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth whose dead body was found hanging from a tree in Ramgarh area while a 6-year-old boy was charred to death in a fire accident in Dagore  area of district Samba today.
Reports said that dead body of 22-year-old Satish Sharma, son of Joginder Sharma, resident of Rara village was found hanging from a tree in the jungle near Suankha village during the day today. Some people noticed the body hanging and informed police. Ramgarh police which shifted the body for postmortem to local hospital and later handed over to the family for last rites.
Police said the youth was missing for the last two days and the family was searching for him. It said that a case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection. The police did not rule out any foul-play.
Another report said that 6-year-old boy, Zafat Ali, son of Anwar Hussain (Gujjar), was burnt alive after their Kulla caught fire during this afternoon. Little boy and his little sister were at home while their parents had gone to the nearby forest with their cattle and goats. While sister ran outside to safety,  the boy who was fast sleep inside was charred to death.  When the parents reached, the Kulla and boy had burnt. A Police party from Sapwal led by SI Parmod reached the spot and started investigation into the case.
