JAMMU, May 9: With daughter of soil Pixie Mahajan in a lead role. Bollywood movie ‘Never Give Up’ is releasing all India premiere on May 10.
Pixie Mahajan is born in J&K and brought up in Bangalore. A Mass Communication Graduate, she is an Indian film actress and an aspiring director and writer. She is the granddaughter of famous Indian cartoonist late Pran Kumar Sharma (Nana Ji) best known as the creator of Chacha Chowdary.
Prior to making her cinematic debut, she won the title “Miss Drama Queen” for her best performance as an actor at Miss Femina Style Diva South contest in 2014. In the same year, she also won the title `Miss Valentine’s Bangalore’.
She took up acting course at Anupam Kher’s acting school “Actor Prepares”. She made her screen debut in 2016 horror movie called “1:13:7 Ek Tera Saath” as the parallel lead. The same year, she also directed and acted in an educational movie called “Nanhe Farishtey” produced by her actor brother Arjun Mahajan, which also made her the first female director of Jammu and Kashmir.
She has given her modeling appearances in print and television advertising campaigns for, `I play school’, Scod 18 cable TV, Biozyme Chemical, Sony PlayStation, Rustolene Spray, cartrade.com, Token fertilizer, Aqua sure, ustra.com (happily unmarried), Ghadi Detergent, SBI, Reliance digital, ITI broadband connection and many more.
She is also seen in many Hindi serials like `Adalat’ for Sony channel, `Wanted High Alert’ for Colors, `Bade Ache Lagte Hai’ for Sony, Vikram Bhat’s ‘Haunted Nights’, `Command Force’ for DD, `Pratigya’ for Star Plus and `Date Trap’ for Utv Bindass.
“Try, fail, fall, cry but never give up until you succeed”, I have grown up listening to these golden words by my grandfather and today I want to proudly announce the name of my first ever Bollywood movie featuring me as the main lead in it. `Never Give Up’- a tag that I have always carried along in my life has miraculously happened to be the title of my first movie. I thanks my parents Rajesh Gupta (State president National Democratic Party Indian), my mother Renu Gupta and of course my younger brother Arjun Mahajan. Without their support, I couldn’t have reached this position,” she said.
