NEW DELHI, May 9: As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified its activity for the last two days before the election campaign comes to an end here tomorrow evening, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, while speaking to media persons, on the sidelines of a hectic campaign, said that the entire capital city of Delhi is vibrating with BJP fervour.
The largest-ever public rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ramleela Maidan yesterday, Dr Jitendra Singh said, was like an icing on the cake, which has paved the way for a decisive victory of BJP on all the seven seats in Delhi, thus setting a trend for a huge countrywide BJP win when the results are announced on the 23rd of this month.
The people of Delhi, Dr Jitendra Singh said, like their compatriots elsewhere are now fully convinced that the future of India can be secure and progressive only under a BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Therefore, he exuded confidence that BJP is going to return to power with a bigger mandate than it had secured in 2014, which will reiterate the faith of 130 crore people of this country in the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Denouncing the abusive campaign launched by the Congress Party and its allies in the so-called “Mahagathbandhan”, Dr Jitendra Singh said, the more they abuse Narendra Modi, the more he gets endeared to the people of this country. What the leaders of this so-called “Mahagathbandhan” fail to realize, he said, is that while Narendra Modi is a product of grassroot democracy and represents the soul of India, most of the leaders in Congress and its allies are the beneficiaries of one or the other dynasty or family lineage.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at Ramleela Maidan yesterday, Dr Jitendra Singh said, the Modi Government not only facilitated ease of governance and ease of business, but also ease of living. This, he said, was best exemplified when Prime Minister Modi himself mentioned his Government’s decision to abolish the age-old practice of getting documents attested by a Gazetted Officer and instead, introduced the practice of self-attestation.
