JAMMU, Aug 2: A 23-year-old youth died due to electrocution in a hotel at Jewel, here today.
“Balbir Singh, son of Krishan Singh, resident of Dhanwalt (Ramnagar) was working for past quite some time in Hotel Verma at Jewel, where he got electrocuted this evening with an electric motor, which is used to pump water”, a police official said.
He said that in unconscious condition the hotel staff took Balbir to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. “The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital and Nowabad police have taken cognizance of the matter”, he added.
