JAMMU, Mar 21: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by general secretary Ganesh Khajuria called on Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmad Shah and sought his attention to resolve the long pending issues being confronted by the teaching fraternity.
Ganesh Khajuria stressed upon the Secretary to issue necessary directions to the concerned quarters to mitigate the genuine demands, such as DPC for promotion of Lab Assistants, Class IV employees, Peons, Library Bearers etc and adjustment of left out Masters who were promoted under 2014 DPC.
The Secretary assured the delegation that concerned authorities shall be directed to hold DPC in favour of aggrieved cadres at an earliest while the adjustment of left out Masters shall also be done without further delay.
The delegation comprised of Yog Raj Slathia, Surat Singh Toofani, Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Kuldeep Bandral, Manjeet Choudhary, Manpreet Singh, Sachin Amla, Romesh Gupta, Neeraj Choudhary and others.
