DC Kathua monitors anti encroachment drive

KATHUA, Feb 23: To check the results of anti encroachment drive launched in Main Bazar Kathua, the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria accompanied by ADC, Tehsildar, CEO Municipal Council Kathua visited Main Bazar and monitored the anti encroachment drive there.
The fruits and vegetable vendors were removed from the Main Bazar and asked to shift at Old Vegetable Market. The Deputy Commissioner, said that to beautify the Kathua town, anti encroachment drive was launched and vendors and rehriwalas were asked to vacate the Main Bazar.
He said that two parking slots were constructed to park the vehicles of customers visiting the Main Bazar and also appealed the people of Kathua to cooperate in beautification of the town.
