Religious activities culminate at Gopinath, Geeta Satsang Ashrams

JAMMU, Feb 1: The month -long religious activities in connection with Magh month culminated at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram Udaywala Bohri and Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsang Ashram,  Muthi.
The spiritual activities at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaywala started on January 3 and culminated on the occasion of Kaw Puranmashi. The religious activities were held from 5 am to 7-30 am daily and despite inclement weather hundreds of devotees used to visit the Ashram daily to participate in the function and pay obeisance to Bhagawaanji.
It is pertinent to mention that prior to mass exodus of Pandits in 1989-90 they used to circumambulate the Hari Parbhat hillock-the abode of Mata Chakreshwari during the month of Magh Mass and now the devotees throng the Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram at Jammu.
During the month one and half crore Vedic Mantras were recited for the welfare of mankind, Besides, the Shalokas from Mahimnapaar, Guru Geeta, Panchastavi, Maga Malla, Bhagvadgita were recited and Homa was also conducted daily.
The religious activities were also held across the country on regular basis to inculcate spiritual and moral values among the people.
At Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi, a Yagya of Magh Mass was performed under the patronage of Swami Kuamr Ji. Th Puran Ahuti took place today on Kaw Aukdo. Large number of devotees attended the function.
The function was attended by Dr Agnishekhar, PTI Bureau Chief, Anil Bhat, J N Sagar, Santosh Nadan, Braham Kumar , Dr Shiv, Dr Vardhan, Prof Rawal and Rakesh Koul.
Religious and poetic discourses were shared by Santosh Nadan, Dr Agnishkhar and J N Sagar on the occasion.
Anil Bhat was presented an award on the occasion. Kumar Ji who also gave religious discourses made an urged separatist leaders including Molvi Umar Farooq to appeal his followers to handover properties of Pandits back to them.
