KATHUA, Dec 20: A missing woman was found hanging with a tree near her residence in Lohai Malhar area of the district.
As per police sources, a missing woman identified as Marima Begum (38), wife of Mohammad Jaleel was found hanged with a tree near her residence in Lohai Malhar area today evening. The lady was missing since one day.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Billawar, where after conducting autopsy, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Lohai Malhar Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
