NEW DELHI, Nov 3: Tracking a weak global trend, base metals fell by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today.
Traders said besides sluggish demand from consuming industries, a weak global trend mainly led to a fall in base metals.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel declined by Rs 2 each to Rs 389 and Rs 1,020-1,023 per kg, respectively.
Lead ingot and lead imported were also traded lower by the same margin to Rs 130 and Rs 128 per kg, respectively.
The following are metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 108-112, nickel plate (4×4) 1,020-1,023, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 389,chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 130, lead imported 128, aluminium ingots 128, sheet cutting 129, aluminium wire scrap 133 and aluminium utensils scrap 128. (PTI)
