NEW DELHI, Nov 3: Moong and its dal prices rose by up to Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on retailers demand.
Traders said some demand from retailers against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to a rise in moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong rose by Rs 30 to Rs 5,000-5,700, while its dal chilka local moved up by Rs 50 to Rs 5,600-6,000 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,600-4,200, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,850, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,400-5,500, Moong 5,000-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,600-6,000, Moong Dhoya local 6,100-6,200 and best quality 6,800-6,900.
Masoor small 3,550-3,750, bold 3,700-3,900, Dal Masoor local 4,200-4,300, best quality 4,300-4,400, Malka local 4,000-4,100, best 4,200-4,300, Moth 4,200-4,500, Arhar 4,100-4,300, Dal Arhar Dara 5,700-5,900.
Gram 4,650-5,900, Gram Dal (local) 5,800-5,900, best quality 6,000-6,100, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 2,150, Rajdhani 2,150, Rajmah Chitra 7,500-10,000, Kabli Gram small 5,050-8,550, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,800-4,200, Peas white 2,875-2,900 and green 2,975-3,075. (PTI)
