JAMMU, Dec 30: RS Pura police seized three tractor-trolleys for illegally extracting mine minerals from river Tawi beds.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from RS Pura police station conducted raid in river Tawi and seized three tractor-trolleys for extracting mine minerals from the river.
It is to mention that, the High Court has banned the extraction of the mine minerals from the river Tawi and despite that some persons carrying tractor-trolleys were engaged in the extraction of the same.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bhushan Manhas seized the vehicles under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
