JKMEF highlights demands

KATHUA, Dec 29: The district unit of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) today highlighted their demands in a meeting held here under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president JKMEF.
Vinod Kumar Sharma, secretary general, Anoop Singh, president, SHTO Driver Cleaner Union, Mohd Aslam and president, Lab Technicians’ Association were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the speakers highlighted the problems faced by the employees working in the Health and Family Welfare Department and requested the State body of JKMEF to frame new body for Kathua district.
The main demands highlighted by the members present in the meeting were clearing the pending 6-month salary of employees working in Family Welfare Department under head 2211, modification of SRO-20 still pending in the administrative department, release the Budget of NPS and pending six-month salary of employees working in this Head.
