BHADERWAH, Dec 26: Senior Citizens Welfare Forum (SCWF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Rattan Lal Gupta.
In the meeting, Gupta said that last year, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu in presence of DyCM Nirmal Singh and Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Prime Minister Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space Dr Jitendra Singh had made announcement for 3 railway projects from Krishanpur Manwal to Bhaderwah, Kathua to Basholi and Jammu to Poonch, but nothing has been done in this regard till date.
He appealed to the Railway Minister to initiate the process of construction of these three railway projects at the earliest.
Among others present were Swami Raj Sharma, Surinder Kumar Rathore, Anayat Hussain, Dr Liaqat Magray, Dayanand Zutshi, Om Parkash Sharma, etc.
