JAMMU, Nov 23: A woman from Uttar Pradesh was today found hanging in a rented room in Channi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the woman identified as Basanti (42) wife of Inderban, resident of Uttar Pradesh and at present residing in Bhagatpura area of Channi was found hanging this evening in her rented room.
The body of the deceased woman was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station Channi.
